The Joys of a University Education

Some of you know that, although I attended uni, I never graduated. This doesn't mean that I didn't pick up useful skills, however. One of those skills came to the fore today when the company I work for found itself with a locked office that they desperately needed to get into, and all three keys to the office in the hands of people who were offsite.

So I picked the lock.

You should have seen their faces as I did it.

Good to see you got the right sort of education. I still have a roll of continuous-feed dot-matrix printed Vax output on lockpicking and burglary snaffled from some early Net archive in my collection of treasured things.

I think ANYBODY who lived in On Campus housing learned lockpicking. Damn useful skill. I'm not much past the tricks with a piece of plastic really, but people are always suprised at how many doors that will open...
