MMkay - Interstate promotion?

So, as some of you may or may not know I am running a teeny con later this year. dalekboy suggested that cons over here don't promote themselves over East much.

So, what should I be doing? I have limited resources for time, so I'd like to optomise my "bang for buck".

Try contacting Gary Kemble over at ABC's Articulate. He's a great champion of local SF/F/H happenings. See if he'd like to do a little piece on it.
