Man my brain hurts.
Today is one of those days where things just break
First, someones baking software stops working because the data files had been moved to the wrong directory.
Then an e-mail address starts looping because the default SMTP address is different from the default exchange address. Note: That ain't supposed to be possible.
Third, one of our users can't get onto an important database because a) The DB administrator never created the username when asked to and b) has gone on a weeks holidays and c) hasn't given the administrator password to anyone else.
Fourth, the same user (who has just replaced an outgoing staff member who left under a dark cloud) can't access his online files because the previous staff member has filed the PINs somewhere mysterious.
Fifth, one of our remote backups has failed becaus it looks like they keep turning OFF the PC that the backup is streaming to.
Bleah. Just another day in tech support.
