You got a "Google Wave" invite yet?

I'm seeing online collaboration being a BIG thing for non traditional groups, as time goes forward.
Nothing matches "face to face" for many things but these days we can't all be where we want to. Physical distance. Can't leave the house cos kids are asleep. Medical conditions. There are others of course.
Online collaboration can give amazing and cheap results. I now run all my convention stuff via Google Docs (and probably Google Wave for the next one) where I can have someone in Brisbane assisting me with programming and I see her edits on the master spreadsheet in real time as she changes them.
The future is here and sometimes it blows my mind. (Heh. My gmail account is increasingly me "one account to rule them all". Chat, Collab, E-Mail, Docs, RSS, Portal. I wouldn't be using them so much except they do them so well)
