You know, the difference between spam and targeted advertising is a very fine one.

I signed up for DriveThru RPGs "Specials" newsletter and I am glad I did. I got the Haitian special, I got the GMs day specials and now this:
All of Twilight 2000 First Ed for $40
Now you may be wondering what the hell am I thinking??? Twilight 2000? Didn't that suck bigtime?

Well yes it did. But in the right light it was fun! The trick was to play it as though it was Aftermath and it was a HOOT!

Play a couple of irregulars from 'bama, who got drafted and just used it as an excuse to stock up on stuff they couldn't get otherwise. Yessirree. It's the end times alright.

My last character had a Polish battle hardened War Horse, uniforms patched together from a dozen different nationalities, with easily removed insignias, a compound recurve bow, an RPG7 and half a dozen warheads in a saddlebag, a uzi in a fast draw in the other saddlebag, half a kilo of Cocaine and $500 worth of gold wire wrapped around my forearms. (The latter two were, as far as we were concerned, better than US$ for buying and selling.) My partner in crime was similarly set up with mild tweaks, and as soon as things went to hell, off came the insignias and we got the hell out of there, headed for Warsaw. The rest of the party got massacred trying to hold on to the stupid APC they'd purchased as we dashed through a forest full of Polish Light Cavalry. APCs don't move so well through dense forest. Horses do.

Ahh good times. Good memories.
