Suddently the web seems to be full of the "Zombie Smurfs" story.
You see, it turns out the first "Modern Zombie Apocalypse" story wasn't Night of the Living Dead in 68. It was Les Schtroumpfs Noirs in 63.
I first saw this in Menage a 3 (No, it's NSFW) but then it turns out Ms Vernon has the same realisation.
