Posts like that aren't engaging in any form of debate, either constructive or heated or emotive or whatever. They're just being destructive and unpleasant. Not cool. I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to delete the whole thread. Can you set it to no more comments and seal it off rather than erase it entirely?
