The wind appears to have lifted the last remaining gutter off the house and flung it onto the roof, despite a dozen bricks that I had dumped in it to explicitly stop this sort of antisocial behaviour.

No idea what the backyard will look like.

This is the worst wind by far this season.

My hope and thoughts go out to all the firefighters battling the various blazes in the godawful weather.

For once i didn't notice the wind. I've been too busy cleaning the ash off everything from yesterday.

Some tool lit up the bush 3km down the road from us. Fortunately the wind was blowing away from us, but we did manage to cop a fair bit of the fallout.
