At some point the gaming press needs to stop giving Thompson the free profile. As far as I can make out, he's only doing it to make himself more (im)famous so that he can arrange a book deal, right-wing TV talk show, etc. That's how it looks, anyway.

I certainly don't blame Take Two for suing for him to fuck off and leave them alone.

I actually think he's not that cynical about his life's work. He seems to really think he is that important, and on a divine mission. He clearly has a paraphilic attachment to abuse.

The way he's declined over the last few years, I wonder how ironically inevitable it is that one day he'll go postal and shoot someone.
