Someone was chasing one of these...

Possibly [livejournal.com profile] lucretiae from memory.

2 port DVI / USB KVM available in Australia. I'll be buying one of these in the new FY along with one of these so I can run both my 'puters off the one Keyboard / mouse combo.

Interesting.
A situation has just come up where I will be needing a KVM at work, just not DVI - and I hadn't heard of these guys.

http://auspcmarket.com.au/ also has quite a range of switch boxes. Not a lot have DVI, but I saw a few on there.

I tried Aus PC Market first. (I buy a fair amount of stuff from them as they have a good range of gear and have excellent customer service)

I've bought stuff from Lindy before as well. They seem to have a good range of "odd" connection solutions. Not cheap but they seem to have stuff you can't get easily from anywhere else.

The combo of DVI and USB seems pretty unique. Most places will do DVI + PS/2 or VGA + USB, but that's no good for Macintosh.

Yeah AusPC is my usual go-to place. Free overnight airbag vs driving to Osborne park in peak hour... yeah I know which I prefer.

And thats unusual. The DVI combo is kindof rare, but almost everyone is using LCD monitors and USB mice/keyboards now.

It IS strange. All my PCs at home are on DVI (or a related standard like ADC or HDMI). All are on USB. I like "pure" digital standards.

And I agree on the whole airbag vs driving thing too.
