I have mixed feelings. It's kinda creepy in a horror movie sense. It's also really different for Ledger, so I want to see what they do with it (plus a lot can change before movie release). It's also not my favorite Joker (Miller's stylized version).

So yeah, I'm withholding judgment until I see what the rest of the movie is going to turn out like. I have faith in Caine/Freeman/Oldman/Bale.

I always loved the idea that the Joker never killed Batman because if he did, he'd have no one to try and impress.

Blech. I loathe Ledger.

Why are they replicating the scarred sides of the mouth from Jack Nicholson's version? Why isn't grinning maniacally enough? It seems pointless.

I can think of several actors I would far rather have seen in the role. Merete suggested Robert Downey Jr, which while I don't completely agree would nevertheless have been a better choice.
