You know, I'd forgotten how damn tedious it was rolling up hundreds and hundreds of characters for old school computer RPGs.

But that how we used to do it.

What game are you playing? I remember with Wizardry, I'd roll up a party, take them up to the first monster, and have the most promising survivor escape and loot the corpses, until I had enough money to buy decent equipment.

And hey, it's probably no worse than rolling them up with actual dice! I used my limited BASIC programming skills to create random characters instead.
