95's a ripe old age. Al Lewis is one of those guys I just assumed had died years ago.
The story at NPR (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5189733) has a bit more detail. He was a lefty (in our sense of the word) and post-Munsters even stood for Governor "against draconian drug laws and the death penalty" for The Greens. Definitely an impressive old bloke :-).
I was surprised too that he was still alive , 95 is a good innings ,I've got to stop saying that I don't even like cricket and yeah 95 is a long time .
My Nana is the most long lived at 87 and she is still alive but Al Lewis so rocks , now I'll have to track down the series ;)*raises a glass to cool guy*.
